ASI Currently Has Openings for:

  • Spacecraft Guidance, Navigation and Control Engineer
    Work in a small company environment to develop spacecraft Attitude Determination and Control Subsystems. Depending upon experience tasks may include all facets of the engineering life cycle including: spacecraft concept and requirements development, subsystem requirements development, detailed control loop and/or estimator analysis and design, ADCS hardware component selection, ADCS software development, subsystem integration & test(I&T), and spacecraft I&T. Applications may include small LEO spacecraft, interplanetary spacecraft, or guidance, navigation & rendezvous systems. Programming experience in MATLAB/SIMULINK & C desired.

  • Software Engineer
    Ideal candidate will possess software engineering skills coupled with a systems engineering perspective. Software engineering skills may include software development, software requirements derivation/verification, or IV&V. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are required. Preferred experience includes creation of scripts for manipulation of data in c/perl and the use of UNIX (Solaris) and/or Linux operating systems. Experience in testing of hardware/software interfaces at the system level is a plus. Familiarity with real-time operating systems, timing analyses, Telemetry encoding/decommutation/extraction is a plus. Requires Bachelor's in Engineering or Computer Science, plus two years of related experience. Solaris, TCP/IP networking, C & Perl programming desired. U. S. Citizenship required.
