STK/SOLIS

Advanced Solutions Inc. (ASI) has created a user interface plug-in to the Analytical Graphics, Inc (AGI) Satellite Toolkit (STK™) mission analysis software that will provide integrated dynamic end-to-end spacecraft simulation. STK/SOLIS™ (Spacecraft Object Library in STK™) provides a full spacecraft simulation within the STK™ Analysis Software and is empowered by an integrated desktop version of the STK/ODySSy™ Flight Software. STK/ODySSy™ is a modular flight software architecture that provides a means for rapid spacecraft development, assembly, test, and integration as well as providing highly autonomous on-board operations. The STK/SOLIS™ and STK/ODySSy™ products provide a unified and validated toolset for mission, spacecraft and operations teams to use from mission design through operations.

STK/SOLIS™ expands current capabilities beyond the traditional mission planning and trajectory simulations by including full rotational dynamics and closed-loop attitude determination and control transforming STK™ into a full six degree-of-freedom (6 DOF) mission simulator. STK/SOLIS™ also contains sensor, actuator, propulsion, power, communications and payload modeling which are configured in easy to use graphical user interface. Spacecraft templates can be preconfigured in STK/SOLIS™ enabling rapid configuration and analysis of spacecraft requirements when a mission need arises. After an accelerated design and analysis cycle using STK/SOLIS™, the resulting flight software configuration can be targeted for actual flight avionics at the touch of a button, enabled by the STK/SOLIS™ architecture which embeds a desktop version of the on-board flight software (STK/ODySSy™).
